beautiful place is situated in Barangay Alitap. This falls
boasts of its richness in clean and cold waters lavishly
flowing in the area. The water supply is so great that
no threat of any drought could ever agitate the abundance
it gives to the community.
Visitors can reach this place either by one and a half
hour hiking or by riding a boat for twenty minutes plus
a twenty five-minute brisk walking.

Calvario
Hills is located at the very heart of Mauban. At the hilltop
where one can view the town of Mauban, stands the monument
of Jose Rizal which was built by Mauban Circle as tribute
to the national hero.
During
the Spanish era, the hilltop used to be a place for singing
and holding of Holy Week activities and rites. When the
American came to this town, the hilltop served as headquarters
while the lower ground as kitchen. The strategic location
of the place helped in detecting incoming enemies.

This
falls is located at the heart of Barangay Macasin and
is surrounded by different kinds of trees providing
total tranquility amidst the melody of chirping birds
and dancing trees. Visitors find the cascading waters
therapeutic as they serve as hydro massager for tired
bodies. There are two options to enjoy the unique beauty
of Dahoyhoy Falls. One is by passing through two hanging
bridges (6.9 meters in height, 60 meters long, 1.3 meters
wide). The thrill of swinging bridge with the river
below will bring a tinge in the spine for acrophobic.
After the bridge crossing, a 30-minute walk from the
barangay road composed of small concrete pathways to
the falls will be an exciting trace for health buffs.
Another option to reach the place is through a thirty-minute
boat ride from Maapon River.

spiritual journey right at the foot of Mt. Banahaw,
every pilgrim experiences inner joy, peace and warmth.
Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is an ideal destination for pilgrims
and tourists not only during the holy week and simbang
gabi but during the whole ecclesiastical year. The Eucharist
is celebrated almost daily; healing mass is part of
Fr. Joey's everyday apostolate. Even for non catholics
or non believers, Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is a serene
place for everybody.

The
7,382 foot extinct volcano is famous for its mystical
attributes. Unique religious rites are held every Holy
Week by pilgrims who believe that Christ walked on this
mountain. There are approximately 66-68 registered religious
sects whose members hold rituals every Holy Week. The
mountain is also a favorite site of amulet hunters.
It is located at the Western Part of Quezon Province.
The town of Sariaya, Lucban, Tayabas and Dolores has
Mt. Banahaw as their common boundary. One can hire a
jeepney from any of these towns and ask to be taken
to Mt. Banahaw.
