Located
at the center of the Poblacion, Quezon Street. The seat
of the towns history, religion and culture, the church
was built amidst great destruction caused by both man
and nature. The first church was built in 1640 but was
burned by the Dutch. A second church made of stone was
built in 1643 but was partially destroyed by fire in 1648.
The third church was rebuilt 1683 and 1698 under Kapitan
Francisco Katindig through hard labor but it was seriously
damaged on august 20, 1937 by an earthquake and suffered
further destruction during World War II during the bombing
of Atimonan. From then on, continuous, preservation, renovation
and improvement of the church were made and supported
by the people of Atimonan.

Built
by the Spanish colonizers, this bridge is considered the
oldest one in town. However it is not clear whether it
was constructed before or after the town church was built
in 1585.
Location
: Tayabas. It is four kilometer from the town proper of
Tayabas and can be reached by the taking the two- kilometer
stretch of rap road that leads to the towns of Sampaloc
and Mauban. fifteen minutes from town proper.

seventy-five kilometers in diameter and seventy-five
meters deep, the lake lies in the crater of an extinct
volcano and is surrounded by thick foliage. This lagoon
is a hub for nature trippers for its offers unique ambiance
due to its spot-like shaped body of water surrounded
by slopes. Grandslam winner of Gawad Pangulo sa Kalikasan
as Best Inland Body of Water.

water.

One of the oldest ancestral
house here at Tiaong and owned by Doña Concha
Herrera Umali. It is a well preserved residential structure
constructed in the late Spanish period.
